21 from Tessa, 10 from the website form
Tessa’s first 19 days, 7 to 26 October 2026, from her call records and the gym’s CRM, as reported to the owner on 26 October.
02The client
Dethrone MMA runs two gyms, Dethrone Fresno at Shaw and Marks and Dethrone Clovis, teaching Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai and kickboxing, boxing, wrestling, HIIT and judo to adults and kids. Owner Jason Kraft is also the head coach of the Dethrone Wrestling Club.
03The challenge
- Calls for both gyms went to the owner’s own cell phone, which had no voicemail.
- One of the numbers listed for the gyms no longer worked.
- Two gyms’ worth of schedules, coaches and programs had to make sense to a parent on a phone.
04What we built
The website
45 pages, live on dethronefresno.com since 16 October 2026: class schedules for both gyms, coach pages with their videos, the Dethrone Wrestling Club and its athletes, kids classes, and a free-class form that sends every request straight to the gym’s CRM.
Tessa, the AI receptionist
She answers the gym’s business line and the chat button on the website, day and night. She answers from the gym’s own schedule and policies, takes the caller’s name and number first, and files each lead in the CRM. She has answered since 7 October 2026.
A CRM with lead alerts
Every new lead, from a call, a chat or the website form, lands in one place and sends a phone alert.
One number for both gyms
(559) 354-3800 is now the number for both gyms, and Tessa answers it. It replaced a Clovis number that no longer worked.
