01The client
Doc Lewis hosts The Gospel Show on KFSR 90.7, Fresno State’s station, on Sunday mornings. He is an author, a gospel singer and a speaker, and he founded the Doc Lewis Foundation, a Fresno 501(c)(3) that teaches people with special needs radio, voice-over and film.
02The challenge
- His story lived on a free page-builder site and on social media.
- His old domain, doclewis.org, had lapsed.
03What we built
His story, in his words
Every page uses his own words and photos: his story, the foundation, his radio show, his book and speaking bookings.
An AI assistant
A text-or-voice assistant on every page answers questions about Doc and the foundation.
Easy to find, for people and for AI
Structured data tells Google and AI assistants who he is: a person, a nonprofit, a book and a radio series. A plain-text guide (llms.txt) does the same for AI tools.
Giving, one tap away
A Give to the Foundation button sits at the top of every page.
doclewis.org, back in use
The site went live on his old address, doclewis.org, on 28 October 2026.
04Inside the site
05Speed, measured by Google
Google PageSpeed Insights scores each page from 0 to 100 on four things. 90 or above is Google’s “good” band. These are the home page’s scores, measured 28 October 2026.
Measured on launch day, before the site was opened to search engines. That setting is the only reason its SEO score reads 69.
