The 2026 Fresno
Agency Website Benchmark

Every agency says they build fast, modern websites. Almost none let you check. So we ran the test that settles it — Google Lighthouse, the same tool, the same settings, on 7 Fresno marketing-agency homepages. Here's what the numbers say, and how to verify every one of them yourself.

03 / Why it matters

A slow site is a leaky bucket

This isn't a vanity score. Google's own research puts the bounce risk sharply higher as mobile load time climbs — and more than half of mobile visitors leave a page that takes over three seconds. A heavy, slow site quietly loses the customers your marketing paid to bring in. Fast is not a luxury; it's the floor.

Lighthouse isn't a complete measure of a marketing partner — it doesn't prove rankings, reviews, or results. What it does prove is craft: whether an agency builds to the standard it sells. We think the shop that builds its own site to a 98 is the one you want building yours.

04 / And while we're being straight with you

Built for the client, priced in daylight

We measured pricing the same day we measured speed. Most agencies around here make you book a call before you learn a single number. We don't. Every tier and everything included is published on the page — because you shouldn't have to sit through a sales call to find out what something costs.

We never ask what your budget is. You decide what you want to spend. There's no sliding scale, no quoting you to your wallet — the price is the price, the same for everyone. Go check the others; then come check us.

05 / The fine print, in plain English

Questions, answered

What is the Fresno Agency Website Benchmark?
A point-in-time, independently verifiable measurement of 7 Fresno marketing and web-design agency homepages, scored with Google Lighthouse on the four categories Google publishes — Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO — plus real load metrics. It exists so a business owner can compare on measured facts instead of marketing claims.
How was it measured?
Google Lighthouse v13.4, mobile emulation, identical settings and flags for every site, run against each live homepage on July 8, 2026. Scores are 0–100 per Google category. LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) is the load-time metric; page weight is total transfer size.
How can I verify these results myself?
Run any site — ours, a competitor's, or your own — through Google's free tool at pagespeed.web.dev. That is the entire point: every number here is checkable in about ten seconds, by anyone.
Which Fresno agency had the fastest website?
Shockwave Digital Advertising recorded the top scores of the 7 sites measured: 98 Performance, 100 Accessibility, 100 Best Practices, and 100 SEO, with a 2.5s LCP and a 0.46 MB page — the only site in the set scoring 90+ across all four Google categories and the only one inside Google's "good" LCP band (≤2.5s). Verifiable at pagespeed.web.dev.
