Billboards in Clovis: Indoor Screens or Roadside Signs?
Thinking about billboards in Clovis? How indoor screens inside local businesses compare with roadside signs, what our network costs, and how to choose.
Short answer: If you want drivers on one busy road to see your name, a roadside billboard is the classic choice. If you want the same local customers to see your ad again and again while they wait, indoor screens in gyms, barbershops and restaurants across Fresno and Clovis do that, and you can start with one ad slot.
What are your billboard options in Clovis?
This post compares two kinds of billboard. The first is the roadside board beside a highway or a main road. It reaches many people for a few seconds each, mostly while they drive.
The second is an indoor digital billboard: a screen inside a local business where people stop for a while. That is the kind of network we run. Our screens sit inside trusted local venues across Fresno and Clovis, including gyms, barbershops and restaurants, and your ad plays on a loop while customers wait. You can see how it works on our indoor billboard page.
How is an indoor screen different from a roadside billboard?
The first difference is attention. On the road, a sign competes with traffic, the radio and the phone in the cup holder. Inside a barbershop or a gym, the screen is often the only thing to look at. There is no skipping and no scrolling past.
The second difference is repetition. Gym members train several times a week, and barbershop regulars come back every month. When the same people keep seeing your brand, you are not a stranger by the time they need what you sell. That is the idea behind the network: people get familiar with your name before they need you.
Roadside boards still have a place. Anyone on that road can see them, and some businesses want that kind of broad reach. Some use both, and the right mix depends on who your customers are and where they spend their time.
How does the Shockwave indoor network work?
The network has 11 live venues across Fresno and Clovis: restaurants, gyms, barbershops, a jiu-jitsu studio and a bike shop. Ten of the venues are in Fresno and one is in Clovis, and each one is listed on our indoor billboard page.
A play is one airing of your ad on a screen in the network, and your monthly plays are spread across the venues. Each placement is one ad slot in the loop, and higher play volumes are available on request. We design the ad in-house from your brand, photos and message, refresh it every quarter, and send a monthly performance report with play counts for each screen.
What does an indoor billboard cost in Clovis?
On our network, Bronze is 5,000 plays a month for $250/mo, Gold is 10,000 plays a month for $350/mo, and Platinum is 15,000 plays a month for $500/mo. There is a one-time $150 ad creation fee, and you can buy more than one slot at the same per-slot rate. Every tier and what it includes is on the Network Advertiser page.
If you also want help with your website, search and reviews, our managed tiers add the billboard play package at 25% off. You can compare them on our pricing page.
Can you keep competitors off the screens?
By default your category is not locked, so another business in your field could run in the same loop. If you want the slot to yourself, exclusivity is available on the Platinum package only, from $1,000/mo, with the area and category set in the contract. The details are on the Network Advertiser page.
Which one should a Clovis business choose?
Start with where your customers already spend time. If they drive past the same road every day, a sign on that road can work. If they train at the gym, sit in the barber chair or wait for a table, a screen in that room reaches them when they have time to look.
A simple way to test the idea is one ad slot for a few months. Ask every new customer how they heard about you, and watch for people who mention the ad or search for your name after seeing it.
Clovis has its own buyers and its own search habits, which is why we wrote a Clovis page about how we work here. If you want to talk through your options, get in touch.
